Is anyone else getting frustrated with the limits of Benedict’s DS goatee?  I LOVE Doctor Strange, but I also LOVE Ben’s smile. I miss seeing his full smile when in costume. 

Oh but the facial hair is an amazing accent to his delicious, full lips. I don’t mind missing the smiles, when the trade off is even sexier. *shivers from the heat of that naughty thought*

And overall, are we finding him to be even more beautiful/devastatingly handsome in this go round as Strange?  The costume is the same, but damn how he wears it.  And the Cloak. He’s the only one on set dressed formally for every scene, and he puts them all to shame!

I know! Don’t know how, but he looks even sexier now!

I do love me some sexy Ben à la Stephen 😍 However, I agree with @ben-locked I adore his smiles! When he smiles, I smile 💛 The authenticity of it makes my heart happy. The goatee for me increases the physical attraction I have towards him, no doubt. His smile though… it’s physical and emotional because it’s his personality coming through. That smile lights up the darkest path. Its comforting and full of warmth. His smile is like the North Star: it guides me home. Cheesy but true. Whether it’s the soft one, sexy one, dorky one, small or wide, I love it and I miss it when it’s not as evident. “Ain’t no sunshine when he” frowns.

Am I wrong? I’m going through withdrawals haha

I agree too, one of the biggest reason why looking at Ben is such a sunshine delight (even when he’s looking like a dorky derp) is because of his free spirited doesn’t-hold-back pocket full of joy smile

for you were the first to illuminate the full spectrum of what we fans love so much about Benedict. Make no mistake, I have lost much too much time gazing at the striking and devastatingly sexy looks he has as DS, but on the other side of the Benedict rainbow, we have the smile, which has been beautifully described as bringing out Benedict’s character. In the end…I’m happy I started the convo, as this is a delicious discussion to have. 😏 As I said - first world problems. 😍

Dear @ben-locked…no time is lost when gazing at this man, regardless of the guise in which he appears.  His smiles are the sunshine that brightens our world, and the happiness he unknowingly gives to us by just being his joyful, caring self is absolutely Beneficial to our emotional health.  Love how this post has grown, illuminated with but a portion of his glorious smiles!  And as I’m currently fixated on one soft, sweet smile in particular, let me add it as well:

It’s not his pure & spontaneous smile of joie de vivre…but as I’ve said to a few mutuals lately, that’s the smile I’d love to come home to at the end of a long, hard day.

This whole post is amazing. And yes, Strange’s goatee frustrates me because Benedict can’t smile properly with it. And we all know how gorgeous his smile is, don’t we?
