Honestly I feel like I’m the only one who watches and loves bbc Sherlock for what it is, rather than whatever personal fandom ship agenda. And by “love”, I am in fact very much including the phenomenally moving series 4

Seriously, am I really the only one in this blue hellsite that ACTUALLY loves the show for what it truly is?? For the story that moffat and Gatiss WANTS to tell??

love it for all the bits, flaws, laughs, cries and the versions of the ACD canon stories that MG and SM wanted to tell since they were youngins who fell in love with the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. I thank the BBC for giving them that chance to make their fan fic come true. It’s hard to say which season is my fave because it goes back and forth between s3 and s4!!

But yep, I love this damn show for what it truly is. Great television, great entertainment that took me on the ride of every emotion. I’ll always support this show and the creators for what their creations.

I loved season 4. I loved it for being over the top and dramatic and crazy and maybe going out with a bang. I love knowing that Gatiss and Moffat sit there writing together, talking and laughing about what they are doing, and having a great time being fanboys writing a show, and then Sue has to produce it and Arwel has to help bring it to life and this crazy crew is going to collaborate for a few months and present something to all of us to get emotional about for a few Sundays, and countless rewatchings afterwards.

And I love it just a little bit more after chatting with and listening to and hugging a few of the people involved in this show this weekend.

I hope we get more stories from Mark and Steven, and more funny, dry, sarcastic and yet still informative panel interviews. They are awesome.

Lovely to read about the love and positive thoughts people have about the show. We tend to focus too much on the negative, when in the grant scheme of things I’d rather have a connection with a show and people out of love and not based on mutual hatred. I love how they went for their vision unapologetically. You go, guys!

There are loads of us who love it - but frankly, some will never speak out, either out of frustration with a certain part of the fandom, or because they are downright afraid of their angry tirades. But that’s Tumblr for you. I find that fans IRL are mostly pretty excited about S4.

I’m so thankful for this thread because, after months of bitterness and sadness over those who kept bashing the same show that helped and /is/ helping me, I realized that… I was not the only one who kept loving Sherlock as per usual. And tonight I had this idea of opening a blog totally dedicated to the show and full of positive vibes, so to keep enjoying it without any whining and surrounded by loving and quiet people. Therefore, thank you all!

If you do let me know please? I’ll follow it like a shot 😄

I would follow it/you, too!

I’m with you all the way, guys. I love Sherlock, flaws and all, it’s my all time favorite TV show, and I love S4. To me it is the most enjoyable season to watch (if not the best). I will wait patiently for a fifth season, no matter how long. And I’m glad the negative part of Sherlock fandom didn’t get to spoil the fun for you all, for it didn’t (and could never) spoil mine.

I hope you don’t feel alone anymore @addignisherlock!

  1. camille09hart disse: I’m afraid I’ve gone past the point of caring for Sherlock, and the characters and anything else related to it. That’s how much I was hurt by S04. I don’t care about ships, I care about good writing - and everything that I’ve been taught during my writing career on what NOT to do to write a good story was spread all over the latest series. I’m sorry I can’t go to your happy place with this, but that’s my stance on it.
